TIPS & NOTES
Adjusting Consistency: If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour; if too dry, incorporate more yogurt until the desired texture is reached.
Shaping Tips: For an even hole in your bagels, use your thumb or the handle of a wooden spoon to create the center.
Egg Wash Alternative: For a vegan option, substitute the egg wash with a thick plant-based milk for a golden finish.
Storage: Store leftover bagels in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
Serving Ideas: Enjoy your bagels plain or topped with cream cheese, avocado, or your favorite spreads for a delicious meal or snack.
MEASUREMENTS:
I always recommend using a kitchen weighing scale and using weighted measurements. This will result in a more accurate process and your bagels will come out perfectly.
