Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 50 g oats (½ cup)
  • 10 g cocoa powder (2 tbsp)
  • 1 tbsp liquid sweetener
  • 120 g Greek yogurt (½ cup)
  • 60 ml milk (¼ cup)
  • 80 g frozen cherries (½ cup)
  • 30 g Greek yogurt for serving (2 tbsp)

Instructions
 

  • Mix oats, cocoa, sweetener, Greek yogurt, and milk until smooth.
  • Fold in frozen cherries gently.
  • Refrigerate overnight or at least 2 hours.
  • Top with extra Greek yogurt and enjoy!

TIPS & NOTES:
  • Use rolled oats for the best texture. They soften overnight while still keeping a bit of bite.
  • Adjust the sweetness to suit your taste - start with less honey and add more after chilling if needed.
  • Let the cherries thaw slightly before mixing if you prefer a softer, juicier swirl throughout the oats.
  • This recipe is great for meal prep. Make a few jars at once and keep them in the fridge for up to three days.
  • Add a little crunch in the morning with cacao nibs, nuts or coconut flakes for a lovely contrast.
  • For an extra creamy bowl, stir in a spoonful of nut butter or an extra dollop of yogurt before serving.
  • Give the oats a quick stir before eating as they thicken naturally while chilling.
 
MEASUREMENTS:
I always recommend using a kitchen weighing scale and using weighted measurements. This will result in a more accurate process and your overnight oats will come out perfectly.
