Easy Cheesy Oat Flour Bread (just 5 ingredients!)

This cheesy oat bread is easy to make, packed with wholesome goodness, and seriously addictive -perfect for cozy breakfasts or snack attacks!

Ingredients
  

  • 240 g Oat Flour (or blended oats) - 2 cups
  • 1 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
  • 8 Eggs
  • 160 g Yogurt - ⅔ cup
  • 120 g Cheddar (grated) - ½ cup
  • 1/2 tsp Salt (Optional)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder (Optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease or line a 2lb loaf tin.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and yogurt until smooth.
  • Stir in the oat flour, bicarbonate of soda, salt (if using), and garlic powder (if using). Mix until just combined.
  • Add 100g of the grated cheddar cheese and fold it into the batter until evenly distributed.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf tin and smooth the top. Sprinkle the remaining 20g of cheese evenly over the top.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool in the tin for 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Slice once cooled slightly.

TIPS & NOTES:
  • Use finely ground oat flour for the best texture.
  • Don’t overmix once the flour is added to keep the bread soft.
  • Freshly grate cheese for better melt and flavor.
  • Let the loaf cool 10–15 minutes before slicing.
  • If adding veggies, squeeze out excess liquid first.
 
 
MEASUREMENTS:
I always recommend using a kitchen weighing scale and using weighted measurements. This will result in a more accurate process and your bread will come out perfectly.
