Add the flour, protein powder, sugar, and milk to a microwave-safe mug or ramekin. Stir until smooth.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Top with extra chocolate chips.
Microwave for 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds, depending on your microwave strength. The centre should still look slightly soft for the best texture.
Allow to cool for 1 minute before serving.

TIPS & NOTES:
Microwave times will vary depending on your microwave, so start with 1 minute and add extra time if needed.
For the best gooey texture, slightly undercook the mug cake.
If your batter feels too thick, add a splash of extra milk.
Replace the protein powder with extra flour for a non-protein version.
Use plain flour plus 1/4 tsp baking powder if you don’t have self-raising flour.
Best enjoyed warm straight from the mug.
MEASUREMENTS:I always recommend using a kitchen weighing scale and using weighted measurements. This will result in a more accurate process and your mug cake will come out perfectly.
