Notes

  • How many Tortillas? - Depending on the size of your pan and the thickness of your wraps, the number of tortillas you will make will differ.
  • Use a Non-Stick Pan: This helps prevent sticking and makes flipping easier.
  • Rest the Batter: Letting the batter sit for 5 minutes ensures it thickens properly.
  • Medium Heat: Cook on medium heat to avoid burning and ensure even cooking.
  • Cool the Pan: Rinse and cool the pan between tortillas to maintain a consistent cooking temperature.
  • Customize Flavors: Add herbs, spices, or seasonings to the batter for different flavor profiles.
  • Storage: Store tortillas with parchment paper between them to prevent sticking, and keep them in an airtight container.
  • Reheating: Reheat in a pan or microwave wrapped in a damp paper towel to keep them soft.
MEASUREMENTS:
I always recommend using a kitchen weighing scale and using weighted measurements. This will result in a more accurate process and your recipe will come out perfectly.
