These Chocolate Bagels are incredibly quick and easy to make. They require no yeast, are made with six simple, nourishing ingredients, and are packed with chocolate flavor to take your breakfast game to the next level.
1Egg, whisked(optional - for egg wash - see notes)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the wholemeal flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
Add the liquid sweetener and yogurt to the dry ingredients. Fold together with a spatula until a sticky dough forms. Use damp hands to squeeze the dough together if you need to.
Add the chocolate chips to the dough and knead gently to evenly distribute.
Divide the dough into four equal parts. Roll each piece into a ball and create a hole in the center using your fingers or the back of a whisk.
Place the bagels on the prepared baking tray. Brush with an optional egg wash or milk for a golden, crispy exterior.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the bagels are risen and cooked through.
Let the bagels cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with your favorite toppings!

Notes
Egg Wash: This is optional, you could also brush the bagels with some milk or dairy-free milk.
Dough Consistency: The dough should be sticky but not wet. Adjust with more cocoa powder or yogurt as needed.
Customization: Add nuts, seeds, or dried fruit for extra texture and nutrition.
Vegan Option: Use dairy-free yogurt and plant-based milk for the wash.
Serving Suggestion: Pair with nut butter, berries, or banana slices. Warm slightly to melt the chocolate chips.
